Master Key Experience – Week 17+
What IS Kindness?
I found this definition for the word kindness: the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Synonyms: kindliness, kind-heartedness, warm-heartedness, tender-heartedness, goodwill, affectionateness, affection, warmth, gentleness, tenderness, concern, care. Kindness is…Amazing!
Opportunities to be kind can be found anywhere and anytime. Even when we are alone, we can be kind to ourselves. And when we find ourselves in emotional places where we’d rather not be, we can feel better by performing random acts of kindness that will lift our spirits.
It is contagious. When someone is kind to us, we feel good about ourselves, and that prompts us to share that feeling with others.
Cabin Fever Knocking At Your Door?
Kindness is another one of those virtues that fits perfectly together with the law of giving and receiving (sowing and reaping). If you’re feeling a little mopey or blue, get out and do a few RAK’s- Random Acts of Kindness. Knowledge doesn’t apply itself. You have to get up and DO IT! The added exercise of being out and active will boost the feeling you get. You’ll feel better about yourself, and so will the recipients!
